Here we have OTG’s take on the veggie pizza. This pizza worked well with the sweetness of the Ajvar base and tangyness of the artichokes with green peppers for that little bit of crunch.
1 Whole wheat dough portion (My local bakery sells them frozen. I keep a couple on had because they are easy and cheap)
Ajvar spread for the sauce base. Ajvar is eggplant and roasted red pepper.
pickled artichoke hearts -chopped
black olives -chopped
grape tomatoes -halved
green pepper -sliced
fresh basil leaves -sliced
I’ve finally broke down and got a pizza peel because trying to fuck around with a 500F pizza stone and some gooey pizza is asking for trouble!
